PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Aerial drones became rather mainstream, and help saving lives in bushfire or search and rescue. In this project you will work in the exciting field of aviation. As part of this project, you will be focusing on the development of AI/ML technology that supports decision making in safety and rescue situations for rescue workers. The project is centred around a software engineering component, which includes the development of a computer game alike environment to simulate different decision situations, using a game engine in its core. The research component is centred around the development of AI/ML algorithms supporting decision making. Those include experimentation with different algorithms, and their implementation as part of the computer game alike environment. You will develop some exciting technologies, which support rescue workers to help saving lives through your tools.
