The pre-processing involves the creation of annotated data sets for training deep learning algorithms.  This annotation needs knowledge of the equipment and language used in the maintenance work orders. The primary focus of this project is the creation of a gold standard training data set for BHP Nickel West rotating equipment assets and supporting the site engineers to visualise and query data in their MWO system.  The successful student will join the UWA NLP-TLP and leverage annotation and knowledge graph tools developed by the NLP-TLP group.  The student will also join the UWA System Health Lab.
